About Us

History      

Thompson Taraz LLP are a firm of chartered accountants and business advisors, who have specialised in the property sector for over 15 years. We are now one of the largest independent providers of fund management and administration services to collective property investment sector. Our affiliated company, Thompson Taraz Managers Ltd, is authorised by the Financial Services Authority to act as operator on unregulated Collective Investment Schemes.

We are based in London's West End, the established home of London's real estate firms and advisors. Since our inception, we have advised numerous clients on many different sorts of property transactions. Through our involvement in these transactions, we have developed close working links with highly experienced property lawyers and other professionals both in the UK and abroad.

Many of our senior personnel have backgrounds of working at some of the largest and well known professional advisors. We seek therefore to combine the high expertise in our specialist area a highly attentive and personal service which comes with our independence.

Our Aim
We are selective about the clients we take on, restricting ourselves to clients who are ambitious and have realistic long term growth plans. Our aim is to form a long term working relationship valued by both the client and the firm, rather than to focus on short term fee potential.

Our commitment to this ideal is reflected in our charging policy. We do not operate a time sheet system. Our charges are based not on time spent but on agreed fees. In assessing our own performance we monitor life time fees and cash flows from a client relationship.
Our Strengths      

We beleive that the way we operate gives us several key strengths as an organisation.

• We specialise almost exclusively in property issues, and so can provide and co-ordinate relevant, innovative commercial and tax advice which adds value to the business.

• Because we take a long term view we are able to spend time thinking about current problems or opportunities facing a client’s business, without short term time constraints. This enables us to offer an unusually proactive service.

• Our culture and working environment allow staff at all levels to be actively involved in servicing our clients and dealing with them on a day to day basis. We can therefore offer a personal and attentive service.

Where we do not have all the skills necessary to deal with a particular aspect of a situation, our policy is to seek and co-ordinate expert advice. We do not take risks with our client’s business or our reputation.
